INDYCNC Color Rush Shifter – Low Profile Demo Derby Shifter Kit
Take control of your build with the INDYCNC Color Rush Shifter, a rugged, low-profile demo derby shifter designed for smooth, reliable shifting in both compact and full-size derby cars. Built with an all-steel mechanism and featuring interchangeable Color Rush handles, this shifter delivers strength, performance, and customization in one package.
Designed around a slim footprint, the Color Rush Shifter provides maximum clearance while maintaining a robust construction capable of handling the abuse of demolition derby competition. The adjustable handle drag system allows drivers to fine-tune shift feel by simply tightening or loosening the bottom lock nut for more or less resistance.
The Color Rush Shifter comes standard with a black handle, but you can customize your build with optional Color Rush handle colors:
- Jungle Green
- Raging Red
- Orange Crush
- Atomic Yellow
- Bruiser Blue
This shifter uses a standard 8-foot demo derby shifter cable (included) and is available with transmission brackets for multiple derby platforms:

The spring-loaded park lockout helps prevent accidental shifts while providing smooth, positive gear engagement. Built in the popular “Forward for Forward” configuration, the shifter is intuitive to use and compatible with most Chevy-style PRNDL transmission throws when using other transmission brackets.
