INDYCNC W-Body Trailing Arm Reinforcement Kit
Strengthen one of the weakest points in a W-body rear suspension with the INDYCNC W-Body Trailing Arm Reinforcement Kit. Designed specifically for demolition derby abuse, this kit stiffens and reinforces factory rear trailing arms that are prone to bending, flexing, and failure under hard hits.
These reinforcements are built from 1/4″ steel and doubled on each side, creating a rigid clamshell-style brace around the trailing arm. The kit is compatible with both square-style and bubble-style W-body trailing arms, and is intended to reinforce the trailing arms only.
This is a complete kit of four pieces—two reinforcements per rear trailing arm. Reinforcements can be bolted on or welded solid, depending on your build preference and rules.
⚠️ Note:
This kit does not include lateral link reinforcements. Hardware is not included—you will need 1/4″ bolts and nuts for installation.

Hardware Required (Not Included)
- 1/4″ bolts and nuts
- Grade 5 or higher recommended
- Four bolt locations per trailing arm if bolting
Installation Instructions
- Can be installed on or off the vehicle
- Kit includes 4 total pieces — install 2 per rear trailing arm
- Position reinforcements so the rounded section faces the trailing arm eye
- Secure using 1/4″ bolts (Grade 5 or higher) through four locations per trailing arm or weld solid
- Trailing arm squeezing inward during installation is normal
