6. VATS / Security Removed
Vehicle Anti-Theft System (VATS) removed so the engine can run without factory security modules.
Installation Notes
Tune is compatible with the stock wiring harness, but to operate correctly you will need to:
• Install a push-button starter
• Hotwire the fuel pump for proper fuel delivery
For the cleanest installation and simplest wiring setup, we recommend pairing this tune with a simplified harness designed specifically for 1999–2002 LS engines.
